I like the app which I believe is now called Music Quiz Guru although the app name saved on my computer is actually Song Guru. Here's a link to an AppleVis page discussing it:

The app requires a wi-fi connection and will play up to 30 seconds of the song from the entire online iTunes songbook and give you a four option multiple choice from which to choose.
