Denise, open Voice Dream Reader and double tap on Settings. Then, flick with one finger until you hear bookshare, Not Enabled. Double tap this, and you'll see a switch button that you need to double-tap in order to turn on. After that, just enter your Bookshare email address and password, and press the Okay button, and you'll be good to go.
To add books from BookShare to Voice Dream Reader, double tap the add button in VDR's main screen, and an alert will pop up with a bunch of services from which to choose. Choose BookShare, and another screen will come up. If you'd like to read something from the Internet using VDR, you're going to need to copy the address from Safari or whatever web browser you're using on your iPhone. To do this using Safari, double-tap the Share button, and then double-tap Copy. choose the Add button from VDR's main screen, and then choose Web Browser. Double tap on the address field, and paste in the address you copied from Safari. Then, when the page loads, you can press the Save button, and then choose whether to save the whole thing, or let VDR try and strip all the junk out of a page so that you just get the important stuff. In my experience, VDR is pretty good at this. If you're like me, and just hit the done button, to go back to your library and read the article right away, you'll have to clear the address field next time you want to read an article using the above method.
