Hi Paul. Make sure that in settings, general, accessibility, Voiceover that use compact voice is disabled. Then go to languages and dialects and double tap the more info button for British English. Turn on enhanced quality and the Daniel HQ voice should download. Unlike in iOS6 and below, you don't have to plug in your phone for the voices to download but you still need to be connected to Wifi. Also, you can do this for any voice you'd like. HTH.
