Hello Netatmo users,
just thought I post a quick update on the Netatmo rain gauge. I received it about 10 days ago and initially had a bit of trouble getting it connected to my weather station, but when I asked a sighted friend to help me the next day we just repeated what I had done the night before which was to start the pairing process using the app and, when asked, to remove the batteries from the rain gauge, reinsert them and then it showed up right away and connected. Finally today is the first day that we are getting some rain and it's quite cool to check the readings and see the "Rain last hour" reading and the cumulative rain fall. There is also a "Rain Forecast" value which I guess they pull from the weather forecast, but I'm not quite sure as it says 1mm and it has now rained 1.6mm over the last 2 or so hours. But it sure seems to be working nicely and the readings are definitely accessible. Regards, Sieghard -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
