Hello all,

Has anyone used this app or something similar on their iDevice? Mocha Telnet
provides access to a Linux/UNIX Telnet Server. Using your iPhone or iPad, you
can connect to a Telnet Server and run applications in a VT220 Terminal window.
Exactly as you would, if you were sitting at your system console, just on a
smaller screen. LITE VERSION Compared to the Lite version the full version has:
- Full support for keys F1-F20, Esc, Tab, Arrows and other VT220 terminal keys.
FEATURES - Supports all standard VT220 emulation features. - Alternate screen
size (24x80 or 24x132). - Zoom and scroll as the Safari browser. - Telnet and
SSH2 protocol. - Landscape mode. - Auto login. - OPTICON 200X barcode scanner.
- Linea barcode and card reader. - iScan barcode scanner from Mobilogics. -
Camera as barcode scanner. - Pop up keyboard. - User defined key values. -
Colors can be customized.

Here's why I'm asking. I've been looking at this product AirEnabler, to turn
any stereo into airPlay system.

The thing is, it is a bit techy to set up. Especially, if you want the device
to join your existing home WIFI.

If I set it up this way, am I doing anything to lessen the security of my WPA2
network? I'm not offering up my password or anything to this telnet service
for someone else to access?

Anyway, I was a bit curious about the whole thing, the airEnabler is $49. It
has 3 modes of set up. It's natural set up uses an open WIFI, then your device
is restricted to your cellular data connection for anything else. For home
use, you can have the AirEnabler join your private WIFI network, then your
device uses WIFI as usual.

What are your thoughts? It gets good reviews on Amazon.

Thanks,
Traci
