Hi Holly, No there isn't. I actually like the kindle app for reading with a braille display better than Ibooks because it doesn't have any extra buttons on the page you have to get through before you know you need to go to the next page. Hard to explain but I find ibooks clumsy. Kindle just shows the text of the book on the screen and nothing else and when hyou see nothing has changed on the display after panning right, you know to pan down. It's much smoother to me than either nook or ibooks.
I would love tips for fast reading with smaller displays and ways to save hands while panning. I ave a Focus 14 blue, so I also am doing a lot of panning. I probably have developed tips for myself on doing this a little, but haven't come up with anything really helpful so would love to hear what others have to say. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Holly Anderson Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2014 10:57 PM To: viphone list list Subject: automatic reading in ibooks on a braille display Hi all, I got my refreshabraille today, I'm very happy with it. I have a question about using it with ibooks. Obviously since its 18 cells there is a lot of scrolling. Is there anyway to auto scroll the display when reading in ibooks? I did some preliminary research, and I'm thinking no, but I just wanted to make sure. People who have this display, have you found a comfortable way to constantly hit the pan right button, I feel like its twisting my hand in knots to try and do it. Any tips for using ibooks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Holly -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
