I just read an article about I beacons and a related app called "Bubbles" (I think) that lets users connect with specific beacons. Presumably a person could purchase beacons and install them anywhere. When I checked, the app was not yet available. The concept is intriguing . Meanwhile, I can rely on my guide dog!
