Hi All,

I recently got a new laptop and now I want to sync my iPhone with the
iTunes library on the new laptop. I have copied all my music, apps etc
into the new library and have checked the option to sync only checked
artists and playlists.

When I tell iTunes to sync the music on my phone with the music in the
new library and answer yes to the warning asking if I really want to
do this, I then get the message that it isn't possible because there
isn't enough free space on my phone.

This is confusing me because I thought iTunes would just wipe my music
off the phone and load up the music from the new library. So why does
it think it needs 40gb free to sync my music?

Please, can someone clarify this issue? Clearly I am missing an
important piece of the syncing puzzle. Also any suggestion for how I
might get this sync accomplished would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Kimber
