Oh darn. I'm very disappointed. That is ok, because the original series with carl Sagan is on either Hulu or Netflix. (I don't recall which at the moment). I did like the musical score a lot. I may yet purchase this new series online or on DVD. It was excellent, and a great tribute to Carl Sagan and his work as well. I should have realized there would be a lot of advertising in the app.
