Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know the major new iOS8 accessibility features we know so far. This is from the Keynote - I don't even have the beta, so I can't break an NDA.
* Better Zoom * Touch ID and a countdown timer as ways to exit Assistive Touch * multi-device support for compatible hearing aids * the Alex voice from OS X (possibly for Siri, or VO, we don't know for sure) * six-key braille input on-screen (no clue what this will look like) * third-party keyboard support for the whole system, and Fleksy as said on Twitter that it will be among the first to take advantage of this. Yes, Fleksy will soon be available at any point in iOS when a keyboard appears, from Mail to the App store to, well, anywhere! That's all I can think of for now, but between those and the standard iOS8 features, this is shaping up to be a very, very exciting release! -- Have a great day, Alex Hall mehg...@icloud.com -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
