Are you bragging or complaining? I work in a sighted world and have for 38 plus years, however, I certainly have contact with other blind people on lists, by phone etc, and I believe I gain info learn new things and have friendships in both arenas, I try not to exclude anyone from my life unless they have done something to me to make me no longer trust them.
Not moralizing, just saying, that is how I have chosen to live my life, not a member of anything but could be easily.
