Well, I don't want to quibble about irrelevant or insignificant details, but I think the bulk of readers will understand the gist of what I posted.

One of the biggest drains on battery apart from continued GPS usage is simply the fact that an iPhone constantly keeps in touch with cell towers. Unless you put your iPhone in Airplane mode which basically means everything is turned off you will never see an iPhone staying at 100% over night even if WiFi and Bluetooth are turned off, if all apps are cleared from the app switcher and if the device is locked all night. If I fully charge my iPod Touch 5th gen, and if I disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I often turn on my iPod some 24 hours later, and the status at upper right-hand corner of home screen will still state battery life at 100% if there hasn't been heavy use. Don't forget that your iDevice will report a different battery status than when attaching your iDevice and checking battery status via iTunes. I tend to trust iTunes more than my iDevice. <Smile>.
