This is a problem. I use a bluetooth wireless keyboard case with my iPad. I have the same problem. The same is true when I use a bluetooth keyboard for my iPhone 5s. I also have an iPhone 4 and when I use a bluetooth wireless keyboard the same thing happens. I've reported this and have swapped several messages with Apple Accessibility. They say this will be fixed in iOS 8. We'll see..... I've heard that story before that something will get fised only to find out it wasn't. I came in around iOS 5 point what ever.
