Hi, If you hold the phone with the back-facing camera pointed at what you wish to take a picture of, while voice over focus is in the view finder, VO will say when it's focused. If you're taking a picture of a person, it will also say "one face" or "two faces" and so on depending on how many are captured in the viewfinder. This is not completely and entirely reliable, however. I recommend getting used to it by taking a few test pictures and asking a sighted person to help you line up better and give you commentary on what could have been done better. Another useful tip is that you can use the volume up/down buttons to take pictures, so you don't have to navigate out of the viewfinder to click the take picture button. Holding down the volume up button, as of iOS 7, will take a burst photo and pick the best one out of however many you give the phone time to take (it's about 20 photos per second, if I recall correctly).

And how do you get it to tell you when taking A picture that you are in focus or not for A good picture? If you are totally blind. Also if you would like to take A picture of someone how can you make sure you get A good shot of there face like A sighted person would? -- Casey -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
