Hi Eileen, If being able to delete recent items is that important to you than you could delete Skype and put the older version back. I think that the ability to delete chat history will be back in one of the next updates since a lot of people on various forums complained about it. As far as I can tell this really is the only feature that is missing. On the otherhand if you use Skype for calling landlines and if entering numbers is something you might have to do then you gain touch typing for the in-call DialPad which I find super nice and I would not go back and do without that. Besides that I like the new interface better
