Hi Everyone,

If anyone can answer this question, I would be most appreciative. Feel free
to respond to me at [email protected] so as not to clutter the list.

I have the iPhone 5S but want to add a very basic phone for emergencies and
as a back up. I have forgotten my iPhone a few too many times so I want to
keep a back up at work.

I have service with AT&T and want to add a second line as inexpensively as
possible, especially avoiding the $30 monthly data charge.

A friend has a Haven phone, (which he used to use on the Verizon network)
and he is willing to let me use it so I don't have to buy another phone. I
know Verizon phones use the CDMA protocol, while AT&T Utilizes GSM.

Is there anything that can be done to make the Haven phone compatible for
AT&T use? Do Haven phones have SIM cards? AT&T did tell me that I can bring
a phone from another carrier and have it activated on their network. I just
don't know if the Haven phone would work.

Thanks for any thoughts or information you might have. Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Donna
