Donna, I don't know what version of Places Around you're running but version 3.3 which I just installed a couple of days ago uses a default theme called Mosaic to display its categories. There are unlabeled buttons in this theme view but the labels are on the lines below the buttons and will execute the function. It is not very efficient with VoiceOver but it does work. If you go into settings and change the theme to Classic, the categories are presented in an alphabetized list and no unlabeled buttons are present.
