T-Mobile has an offering on its website that provides unlimited text and data along with 100 voice minutes for $30 a month. With a Chase Ink credit card, It is actually $28.50. I have both this plan and the Chase card. The offering is available only on the T-Mobile website, not in stores or through a call center. I have installed the Magic Jack, vonage and FredomPop calling apps on my phone and use them for all outbound calls. I have never run out of minutes for calling. This is the most economical service for a GSM provider.
Consumer Cellular uses the AT&T network. For $35 a month one can have 200 voice minutes, one gigabyte of data and a thousand voice minutes.
