Hello Keith, I agree that the clockface/degrees/cardinal directions of POIs is often a little off, but this could simply be how the POIs were marked. For example, if we are talking about a building, the marker might not be set directly at the front door of the building. I could be totally wrong, but I have a feeling that some POIs might have been marked simply using the address of the building, meaning that maps apps simply estimate where the building is based on the address range of the block. So, if you are walking along the 2600-2699 block of a street and a POIs address number is 2650, maps apps will simply assume that it is at the exact center of the block. Again, I could be totally wrong about this.

Some significant misinformation. Insights? Hi, Using an iPhone 5 with latest iOS and Blindsquare. Took a loop around my neighborhood tonight. I love the directional information, intersection information, and approximate street address information. There were at least 3 POI announcements that were quite wrong. The first told me it was 60 feet at 5 o'clock; in reality, it was about 2 blocks at 7 o'clock. Another was announced as 70 feet at 2 o'clock; in reality, it was 2 blocks at 9 o'clock. Another was announced as 80 feet at 7 o'clock; in reality it was about 2 1/2 blocks at 2 o'clock. Is there a calibration or something I may have missed? But, again, all announced directional information was correct, as were intersections announced and approximate street addresses. One other question. I like the several announcements of "you have walked x miles in y minutes." Is there a way to have such announcements repeated? I missed the last one because someone was talking to me, and I was interested how far I had walked in what time during this loop. Thanks in advance.
