As I understand it, there are a number of options available on the Triple Click Home button to begin with, one of which is voiceOver. Another is hearing Aid Compatibility Mode, and there is another whose name escapes me right now. the four-finger double-tap seems to me to be a VO specific gesture. I am not sure how we could get all of the options on without choosing one of the triple click home options and not the other(s). My phone was set up for me in the shop with VO and hearing aid mode on.
