In fact, iTunes backups data automatically every time you sync with it, 
unless you stop it manually, so if the backup exists, you can recover lost 
data from the last backup files.
Launch iTunes
iTunes > Preferences > Devices
In case that you are unlucky an no backup can be found, you may recover 
them via iPhone data recovery <http://www.recovery-ipad.com>.

And you say that you iPhone stuck in recovery mode
