I love my apple tv. if you can master a set of arrow keys and enter you
pretty much have the thing licked.
there isn't a much simpler interface out there. if you are going to do
a lot of searching, it is worth pairing a bluetooth keyboard as typing
on the on screen keyboard is doable but quite slow imho

Julie, in my opinion apple Tv is a lot easier to use netflix with than
anything else. I would even go as far as not using Crhomecast, and
just use airplay to stream music to your apple Tv from your phone.
Netflix is a lot easier layout wise on the apple Tv. I use it almost
daily and it's much easier than most things out there using the phone.
The phone can be used as an apple Tv controller but it can be a pain
to set up and it's almost just easier to use the Apple Tv controller
itself. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to yell.
