Standscan Pro is not an app. It is a box thon which you place your device. One side of the box is open, for you to slide in your reading material. You set the phone on top. There is a hole cut into the top of the box, where you place the camera lens. Also, there are small LED lights inside the box. When all is positioned, the phone camera should be lined up with the middle of the page. You take a picture with your OCR app of choice, and if all works as advertised, you should get a good result.
