Might that also be due to the microphone bug talked about on list as well? I
know when I'm using either my Bose headphones or Plantronics bluetooth ear
piece, VO sounds pretty bad with that bug and gets better once I press and
hold the home button to activate Siri.

While I'm not a huge fan of the Bluez 2 due to comfort and the new fast
forward/rewind control, sound quality is definitely not a problem. You may
have gotten a bad unit, because audio on mine is as clear as any headphones
I've used.

My issue with VoiceOver over the Bluez 2 headphones is that VoiceOver sounds
quite scratchy and fairly distorted.

I am not sure what you mean here. There is a slight delay when using any
bluetooth audio device, but that's the only VO issue I can think of. Aside
from that, the Bluez work the same as chorded headphones. Can you describe
the problem you have in more detail so we can try to identify what might be
going on?

I am not "Andy," but I will submit that I don't care for the quality of the
VoiceOver interface via the Bluez 2. I can't speak for the corded earphones
since I haven't had any experience with them. But the channeling of
VoiceOver through the Bluetooth connectivity is horrendous (in my opinion).

The difference between the corded and uncorded Aftershokz earphones is that
the wireless deploy Bluetooth connectivity while the corded earphones are a
more traditional wire from port to port design.

I do suspect the corded earphones would be far better in transmitting the
VoiceOver interface.

Hi Andy,

What is the difference between corded and cordless aftershock headphones? I
want to get the best model out there that works well with voice over and
that are very assessable. How do these work with blind square and which ones
would you recommend?
