Might that also be due to the microphone bug talked about on list as well? I know when I'm using either my Bose headphones or Plantronics bluetooth ear piece, VO sounds pretty bad with that bug and gets better once I press and hold the home button to activate Siri.

There is a slight delay when using any bluetooth audio device, but that's the only VO issue I can think of. Aside from that, the Bluez work the same as chorded headphones.
