Hi, all,

I'm using an iPod 5G. I have a Braille display and a Bluetooth keyboard. I can
easily select text in an edit field, and in that case, the edit function is
available in the rotor. In an area that doesn't have an edit field, the edit
functions aren't available in the rotor, and the only function available in
this case is the shortcut menu when doing a double-tap and hold gesture. This
menu contains a "select all" option.

I've tried the two-finger spread gesture on the touchscreen in non-editable
text, and I'm able to select a character at a time. Is there a trick to this
process? It seems very unwieldy to me. How about keyboard and Braille display
commands? I've tried using dots 2-5-6-chord on the Braille display to select
text, but it doesn't seem to work.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Teresa
