Here's my view on this issue. Don't buy a phone until you have saved up the money first even if it takes you longer. Why? Because your only going to get one shot at it and that new phone or iPad isn't going to be cheap so save up until you can aford the biggest hard drive because it's better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Far to many people buy the cheapest and not even the newest because their money is burning a hole in their pocket. For example, I had an iPhone 4. The 4s came after I bought mine, and then came the iPhone 5. When I got a new iPhone it was the iPhone 5s. I had the money to buy the largest size hard drive and to get it with both celular data and WI-FI. To my way of thinking, it's a smarter way to get what you really want which is the way coolest iPhone they hhave at the time you have enough saved up. In my case it was the 5s. There is always a new model coming out in the not to distant future but setteling for less because your money is burning a hole in your pocket isn't the best way to go.
