I ran a search for this Mastering the Macintosh with VoiceOver book in Bookshare and did not find it.
I have never used iBooks, so thought this would be a great chance to download it and take it for a test drive on my iOS device. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ibooks/id364709193?mt=8 I was able to install iBooks very easily, and I was able to download the book for free: iTunes - Books - Mastering the Macintosh with VoiceOver by Tim Sniffen https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/mastering-macintosh-voiceover/id899197795?mt=11 iBooks is such a headache that I didn't get beyond page 3 before I concluded that I was not going to struggle with the iOS' annoying edit field nonsense. I guess you can guess how I feel about having to enter an edit field then accidentally be taken out of it only to struggle to return where I left off in my document. I love my iDevice, but I really, really, and I mean really dislike the annoying edit field one must enter when navigating or editing a document--way too easy to lose one's place. I'll jus leave IBooks alone as I'm sure it will come in handy at some point in the future. I guess I just wanted to write and confirm that indeed this book is free for the ibook users out there. <Smile>. This book is available free for users of iBooks. I haven't checked to see whether it's available from other places, such as Kindle or Bookshare. I definitely plan to grab it. https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/mastering-macintosh-voiceover/id899197795?mt=11 -- Feel free to visit my new Web site http://www.DavidGoldfield.info Feel free to visit my LinkedIn profile http://www.linkedin.com/pub/david-goldfield/12/929/573 Visit my blog http://davidgoldfield.wordpress.com Follow me on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/davidgoldfield David Goldfield, Founder and Peer Coordinator Philadelphia Computer Users' Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
