And, the biggest factor of all is, I want what I want when I want it and I
usually want it now.
I have pressed people to save up their money even if it's 20 dollars a month
until they have the money to buy or upgrade. For example, I went from an
iPhone 4 to a 5s and the 5s was WI-FI plus Cellular with a max size hard
drive because I believe it's better to have it and not need it then to need
it and not have it.

saving strategy because it becomes obsolete much quicker. Apple
supports
iOS devices for only four or five years. the discount for last year's
iPhone is just $100, which is not 20 percent of the cost of a new
iPhone. This all means the discount for last year's model doesn't
exceed the depreciation costs.
Where money can be saved with iPhones is in the upgrade cycle. A lot
can be saved by delaying an upgrade for a year or two. Also, choosing
a discount carrier or service rather than a high end post paid service
can save a lot of money. the cost savings can actually cover the cost
of a new iPhone after only about six months.

If for my and my parents' budget a 5S is nearly impossible, if I buy a
5C would I get the same benefits as a 5S? Sounds like a tongue twister
so let me try to explain: If i were to buy a 5C, would I have the same
processor speed as a 5S but in a plastic case, being able to use the
Alex voice in IOs8 for instance? Thanks for ideas.
