Depending on the size of the audio file try this: 1. You stated you are using Dropbox, so simply launch Dropbox, find the file and double-tap on it to begin playing it. 2. Use the 2-finger double-tap command to stop the playing of the file. 3. At bottom left hand corner there is a Share" button so double-tap. 4. There is a Mail and a Copy link option. You might be able to use the Copy link option so that the person can download the audio file to their iPhone.
Please let me know if you have any problems and we'll see if we can come up with something else, but this looks like a viable plan. <Smile>.
