I understand about having the iPad Mini in landscape. It was awkward on a keyboard my world is portrait I guess. I locked my orientation almost as soon as I got mine.
However, I am not sure how it happened but once I could not get Voice-over to work at all and I reset the unit. When it came back up orientation was upside down so the home button was at the top. After I stopped laughing I unlocked orientation with Seri and Turned it round the other way and got it back the way it was supposed to be and locked it again. It was sort of funny trying to work upside down. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Regina Alvarado Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2014 7:01 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Advantages/disadvantages with portrait and landscape on the IPad Mini Retina Truthfully, the only real reason I lock my iPad Mini in portrait is because it feels more like my phone. It is easier for my small hands to move around the screen. I use landscape only when absolutely necessary such as using mBraille on my phone, though I use portrait for it on my iPad Mini. (smiles) Interesting enough, I do not use my full sized iPad much because it is too big even in portrait. reggie and Allegra On Aug 2, 2014, at 7:42 AM, Krister Ekstrom <[email protected]> wrote: Hi, Well, the subject sorta says it all, when navigating around, what mode do people prefer?
