Hi Eric, Very easy and reliable: when you are on a chat you want to delete, double tap and hold on the right side of the screen. After the little tone you get when you do a double tap and hold you hear another tone and at that point just swipe to the left of the screen without lifting your finger. Voiceover will put focus right on the delete button, just double tap and it's done.
