Anna, I've found those checks and by golly, when you check one off, they stop annoying you! Funny how that works heh! <grin>

Hi,

YOu're right - reminders play once and stop, unlike alarms. But they can function as a to-do list - you can check the boxes when you've completed the tasks.

Best,
Anna

Hi,

Just set a test reminder, it made a ding noise but didn't actually say the reminder as the screen was locked.
Is this all that reminders do?
I was expecting it to be a bit more in your face e.g. it keeps playing the alarm tone until you accept it or something? If I miss a reminder, do I then have to manually go in to rmeinders to look at the list of things to do? I am guessing that a reminder may work slightly differently to an alarm then?

Thanks in anticipation for any help.

It's a lot easier than that. For instance:
remind me to take the trash out tomorrow at 7
or
wake me up at 6:20
or
remind me to start dinner in 2 hours
or
set the timer for 45 minutes

Hi friends,

I can set a reminder with SIRI, for example new reminder and it will prompt me to enter the reminder details. Is there a way to set a reminder with SIRI then specify a reminder time without having to add it manually if you understand what I mean? Can I say something like new reminder with alarm and then it will prompt me for an alarm time?
