I think we all have that same issue. I emailed [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> letting them know that this was an issue. I don’t recall this being the case in IOS 6.x but maybe I’m wrong. Either way it’s very annoying. I did get a response stating that it was being submitted for investigation. I also reported the other lock screen issue where the screen locks before one has enough time to read the alerts irrespective of what you have the time out set to under settings.
