I'm one who doesn't typically put my phone into a case. I take pretty good care of my phones, and I want them to look and feel good for myself and not their next owner. I actually wrote to say though that they do make cases with the color of the phone in mind that do let you show off the color of the phone a bit. My wife got a 5C, and they had cases especially for the 5C that were clear and let you show off the color of your phone. BTW, she went with a 5s case and just covers up her pretty green phone with a black case. I bet they have cases for the gold phones that do let you show off their color.

Hi Cheryl,

I have the 5s in gold. It is glitzy. With that said, I have always put my phones in a case. As a result when I have sold them back to Apple or Gazelle, I have received the highest payment. My phones are in mint condition when I sell them. Before I leave the mall with my new phone, it is in a case. Personally, I like either the silver or gold.

Maybe some of you who have seen or still have some vision can help me with this. I use my iPhone since the 3gs and through 4S 5 and 5S without case most of the time and without screen though I have tried screens on and off. The idea of a gold or silver phone, especially the gold, sounds really neat to me though I've never seen. It's not that I want to show off to people or anything; it just sounds like it would be pretty and bright. The words "space grey" make me think of a rainy day or one where rain is alway threatening (I do like rain but maybe you get the idea of the mood of the association). Maybe not a rainy day; maybe just kind of a foreboding or foggy one. But I know gold or silver is going to show dirt more too. Do gold and silver really look that cheerful in phones or am I just asking for a dirt magnet?

Thanks for any advice.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.

I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper

thrown in the trash!

Then God gave me a new heart and life:

His joy for my despairing tears!

And now, every day:

"This I call to mind,

and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the Lord

never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness."
