Yes, and it is really a bad idea to try and upgrade on the 17th as soon as iOS 8 shows up as an update. All of you who tried to listen to the live stream today, what was your experience? It was anything but good and upgrading as part of the first rush will probably be the same and you are asking for problems. I would wait at least 3 or 4 days if you want a smooth and problem free experience and don't forget to make a backup before, then force quit all apps and at least shut down your phone and restart it, even better do a reset all network settings which will also reboot the phone, then sign back in to your WiFi and then attempt the upgrade. I guaranty next Wednesday there will be a lot of posts, many from people who say the upgrade worked fine and a few who will have problems with the update not completing or the device going silent and maybe not coming back. Another really good idea is to do the upgrade via iTunes, you will get much more feedback and won't have to deal with the unnerving situation of your phone going silent for maybe an hour or more.
