The iPhone 6+ has an amazing 24 hours of 3G talk time this compares to 10 hours for the 5S and 14 hours for the iPhone 6. Music playback on the iPhone 5S is rated at 40 hours, 50 hours for the iPhone 6 and 80 hours for the iPhone 6+. Apple apparently is using the space in the larger phone to put in a pretty hefty battery. I heard 2900 MAH, that is pretty much twice the size of an iPhone 5S battery.
I'll post an actual size comparison shortly. Rob from the Today in iOS podcast lists the actual dimensions (length and width) for the 6 and 6+ and it's easy to find the ones for the 5S. I am into woodworking, so I'll use quarter inch plywood which is only marginally thinner at 6mm than the iPhone 6 at 6.9mm and the 6+ at 7.2 mm and I'll make exact pieces for all 3 phones. I will then try to explain the real size difference in terms of " the size of a 25 cent coin longer" or "a finger width wider" or something like that. We already know that even the iPhone 6+ at 7.2mm thick is thinner than the 5S which is I think 7.6mm.
