An interesting slant on the rule of Thumb: but sounds a reasonable one. If the aspect ratio (length over width) is the same, both would be longer And Wider than the 5S. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Pelletier" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 10, 2014 8:40 PM Subject: RE: New phone dimentions
Hey John, Are you saying that the 6 is longer but the same width as the 5S? That's what it sounds like In that case, I would say that the 6 is about 1 finger longer than the 5S and the same width and the 6+ would be about 2 fingers longer and a comfortable 1 finger wider. Of course, it depends on the finger. I had my wife create pieces of cardboard which correspond to the three sizes of phones. That is the 5s, 6, and 6+. I thought that I would try to put it in a way which some may understand better. So what I did was compare the sizes to lines of braille (strange I know). I know that this won't help everyone but for those who work with braille, the 5s is 12.5 lines long and 7 wide. The 6 is 14 long and 7 lines wide. The 5s is 16 long and 8 lines wide. -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
