I don't know about other countries. But the preorders do not start online here in the US until 12:00 AM PST, 1:00 Mountain, 2:00 central, and of course us on the east coast 3:00 AM. Guess they didn't want anyone to have a unfair advantage. Just a tip that CNT.com suggested, make your upgrade threw the apple store app, or your carriers website. HTH
