Are you familiar with the rotor? If so, that's how: rotor to lines, words, or characters, then flick up to move back toward the spot. Rotor to something smaller, like words instead of lines, as you approach the mistake, and finally use characters, if necessary, to get to the exact spot. Make the edit, and you're done.
