I've never heard of being forced to buy something like that. Maybe they
offer it, but you should be able to refuse it. Being force to buy something
when you're buying the phone makes absolutely no sense.

I pre ordered my I phone 6 plus today and eventually when I got to do it
online, it went quite well.
I was rather annnoyed that I was forced to get an Itunes gift card though.

have never used one of these but I hope this will be useful when I come to

to the apple Store are hopeless.
