Charles, AS to the first question--yes, most definitely! Regarding the second--look at the list archives for this and a lot more information on Fantastical 2. Basically, if you are someone that want to set custom recurring appointments (such as the second Tuesday of the month), wants to have your reminders and calendar events in one app, and wants other options that the native calendar app does not give, then take full advantage of the sale.
