Hello Everyone,

I have a Galaxy Note 2 Android phone that I use on a daily basis. The Note
2 has a 5.5 inch screen.

I can tell you that for the first week I used it, it seemd a bit large but
after all this time, about a year now, I can say that I think the 5.5 is a
perfect size.

Moreover, believe it or not, the 5.5 Note 2 fits in every single pocket that
I place my iPHone 5 S in including my shirt breast pocket. Just as with my
iPhone 5 S, I keep my Galaxy Note 2 in a folio leather case.

If you take a look at the most popular phones out there, you will discover
that big is in. People seem to love the 5.5 inch screen and I cannot blame
them.

A while back, Samsun released the Galaxy Mega which comes in at a wopping
6.3 inch and the Galaxy Note 3 with a 5.7 inch screen.

Although the Note 3 and the Mega are both fine devices, each with more
features than the Note 2, according to the chatter on the web, their sales
were disappointing because consumers did not like their screen sizes. After
using each of them for 1 day each, I would have to agree.

There's something about that 5.5.

Apple is truly brilliant. What they did was sit back for a year or so,
disregarding the calls for a larger device and let companies like Samsung
release phone after phone after phone experimenting with various sizes until
they found the right one. Then, after all the dust has settled, Apple
simply releases a device at that sweet spot.

Absolutely brilliant.

I think most people, after a week or so, will come to love the 5.5 inch
display. For better or worse, it is the new normal.

Just my opinion.
