I'm not sure if or when I'll get an iPhone 6, but I am interested in
taking a look at it. I know this sounds shallow, but one of the reasons
I held onto my Nokia phone as long as I did was because I disliked the
feel of the iPhone 4 so much. I kept holding out hoping they'd come out
with a phone that felt more like the iPhone 3. I just think the iPhone 4
and iPhone 5 just feel like a glass sandwich.

Hello,
One thing that really stands out is this. In both the 6 and 6 Plus, the phone
doesn't have the rather sharp feel of the 4s or the 5s. It feels kind of warn,
or like something that fits just right. Kind of like an old glove. And it
doesn't really feel metallic, instead it feels kind of warm. I don't know how
else to say it. No sharp edges on either phone. The buttons are on the sides
and no buttons on the top. The power button is on the right side of the phone.
On the back of the phone is the video microphone, camera lens and the flash and
light sensors. The lens sticks out about an eighth of an inch or so. The
microphone is a small opening and the sensors and flash are between the mike
and lense.
On the bottom edge from left to right earphone jack, Lightening port,
microphone and speaker.
That's all I can think of for now.

Hi,
Most of your observation has to do with the ios8, not the hardware of
the phone or such though.
For me, 6+ can be hard to hold at the first second, but it can be
quite comfortable afterwards. I guess, it is just personal choice and
also, in some way, some people having some sort of resistant towards
bigger phone, with the concept that we are blind, we can do with a
smaller screen phone or such.

Hello,
You bet. But for some reason, I spent a little more time with the Plus. I
think it's just because that's the one I really felt most comfortable
holding. I'd say about 5 minutes with the 6 and about 10 or so minuts with
the Plus. I am really astounded with how well ballanced the phones were.
But again, I still like the Plus. However, both phones really feel well
built. Now, if they were only water resistant, that would be fantastic,
wouldn't it?

You looked at 2 phones, and, "it", is singular. Do your observations
apply to both the 6 and the 6 plus??

Subject: I just took a look at the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and here's my
observations
Hello List,
I just looked at both the 6 and 6 plus. From the short time I was able to
examine it, here's what I noticed.
This phone was on Wi-Fi, not cell service. So I didn't test the phone
app.
1. VoiceOver worked extremely smoothly.
2. I didn't have any problems with the home button toggling VO on and
off.
3. In notes and Safari, I didn't have any problems navigating using VO.
4. I connected my Apple Bluetooth keyboard and it worked well for the
minute or so that I had it connected.
5. BTW, I love the 1 hand concept. It's really nifty and quite easy to
use.
Now, after saying that, here's my personal conclusion.
I'll purchase a new 6 or 6 plus in the next month or so, without a doubt.
While I suspect a few OS bumps along the way, it should be much better
than my 4s.
