Hi Regina, the 6+ is definitely no where near the size of an ipad mini. The size didn't add up at all. An iPad mini is 7.9" screen, and the 6+ is 5.5" screen. A 6+ can fit in the Man's Shirt pocket, while an ipad mini need a hand back or bigger to carry in it. If you put two 6+ side by side on the lanscape mode of an ipad mini, you might come to the closer size of an ipad mini.
