I am seriously wondering about this. I enjoy using all my Mac devices: my
macbook Air, my iMac, my two old mac minis - one unable to go further than Lion
and one a ppc machine that would have been stuck forever in Leopard if I had
not turned it into a Linux box (you see I hate to get rid of anything until it
actually comes to a grinding hault! I like my iPad, but now I am wondering
whether iPads will eventually fade from my life! My iPhone 6+ has as much
storage space as my iPad, perhaps the sound isn't quite as good as that of the
iPad but it is plenty lound enough, the little adjustable Anchor multi-angle
stand that holds my iPad in various positions of landscape and portrait when I
don't need the keyboard stand fits the iPhone 6+, probably even more safely
because it isn't so tall and really has no possibility of tipping over in
portrait when moved. For a sighted person, I can see that the iPad may still
have its advantages but for me, I'm not so sure! My iPad is both celular and
wifi and I'll either keep using it or find it a good home, but I wonder whether
eventually I will find myself taking the iPhone 6+ out where I used to take my
iPad. I suppose the iPad could always be ready to jump in as a hotspot when
needed rather than using the iPhone 6+ so that I don't have to worry about my
battery going down on the phone. I guess only time will answer this question.
Perhaps this is a question sighted people are also asking but I would think the
even larger screen would be more motivating for a sighted person for keeping
both types of devices than for a blind person. Any thoughts? I know many people
on this list don't like the size of the larger iPhone 6+, but to me it seems to
be the perfect compromise between the larger iPad mini and iPad and the smaller
iPhones of the 4 and 5 series.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper
thrown in the trash!
Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!
And now, every day:
"This I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."
(Lamentations 3:21-23 ESV)
