Hi Christopher,

Check what is enabled under Settings, Privacy, Location Services, System
Services. I have just about everything turned off in here especially cell
network search and setting time zon as well as frequent locations.

Also, go to Settings, General, Handoff and Suggested Apps and unless you
really use it, turn off handoff and turn off suggested apps.

Rob in the latest episode of the Today in iOS 8 Podcast goes over a pretty
long list of battery saving tips both new ones for iOS 8 such as the handoff
stuff and some others which also applied in iOS 7.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Re: IOS8, The Posatives

Yeh, I remembered this from the IOS 7 update, and I'm occasionally
toggling bluettooth on and off anyway, since I'm not a frequent
bluetooth user, so I caught this right away. I didn't think to check the
brightness right away though. It seems like I'm still not getting the
battery life I used to, so there may be another setting I need to find.
It also may be that my iPhone usage habits have changed a bit recently,
specifically reading a lot more email with the IOS update and all.

cited help can be found to help repare the display back to the iDevice.
