Hi Rose,
Just keep in mind that while the KNFB Reader app works fantastically well
it
will not do barcodes. I find that for recognizing food items and packages
that Camfind often does a very good job and there is no need for Camfind
to
actually see the barcode.

Well, I have a 4S and I plan to upgrade eventually, probably after all the
hoopla goes away, I want to try out the NFB reader for one, finding myself
alone at home means I need to read a lot more than I did in the past, my
luck has not been the best at using the current scanning devices on the
phone but many times I am not next to my flatbed scanner and computer, I
have a barcode scanner on the computer but it is not near or in the
kitchen
which is where I find I need it most, if I can gather this type of
information from my phone reliably I am going to do it. If I were
actually
able much as I hate to say it, I'd be at the Verizon store tomorrow
morning
but, that is not possible. My 4S has been my friend for almost three
years
but there comes a time.

In my opinion, the 4S was the best iPhone design.
I currently use a 4 so I'm going to have to upgrade to something at this
point. But, if I had a 4S, I wouldn't even be thinking about it.

Hi Krister. Basically what continuity is is you can start something like
writing an email on one device and continue what you were doing on
another.
For example, If I started writing this email on my iPhone and I'm near my
Mac, if my Mac's running OS X Yosemite, I can continue this very same
email
on there. However, iOS 8 and Yosemite are still in beta so those features
aren't available to us yet. I'm with you though. I can't wait until we
can
use continuity because it also lets Mac users use the Mac as a blutooth
speaker for our iPhones so we can make and answer calls.

And i can't wait to use the Continuity feature even though i don't
understand how it's supposed to be done or used. Does anyone know
anything
about that?

You get on your knees and pray/bag the apple computer gods that the
iPhone
doesn't get the iOS 8 update.
I am looking forward to iOS 8. I can't wait to use the hand off
features
and apple pay.
Best,

No, anybody is responding my question. If I don't want to update my
iPhone
5s, to IOs8. Because I don't want, I don't want to hurt feelings here,
it
is
because I don't want, it is not because bugs, ok?
Now, if I don't want to do it. In case that I want, or I need to do a
restore, of my iPhone. When I press restore, the iTunes automatically,,
start downloading the last update available.
But I don't want to install it, what can I do to keep the IOs 7 in my
computer, and do not download any update to my computer when I need to
do a
restore?
Thanks
