I actually was able to confirm with Apple Accessibility that this is a
bug. I wouldn't expect it fixed in 8.02, that one will probably take
awhile. They have many bigger fish to fry right now with the phone
call problems introduced in 8.01. Apparently, the issue where numbers
sometimes stick when dialing in the phone app has been resolved. I'm
sooo glad I reverted to 7.1.2 on Tuesday, I doubt they're still
signing that install.
