When I purchased my first apple device in July (the iPad Air), I noticed a big difference between the color options for text offered by apple and what is offered with zoom text on my PC. The iPad Air ios 7 version offered me two not wonderful options for my eyes- (1) black text on a white background, the white that could be reduced in brightness or (2) inverting the colors with a dark background with very bright colors for the text. With zoomtext, I have my preferred option of inverting the colors to have white text on a black background which is not as glaring for my eyes which are quite sensitive to brightness. Has anyone tried the new grey scale color options with iOS 8 and what do you think? I have not updated to ios 8, but would strongly consider it if the grey scale options were similar to what is offered with zoomtext. Thank you for any advice offered.
