Hi Larry.
I haven't bought the app yet, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong in my assumption, but from the demos I gather that it doesn't have a limit as to how big the image has to be. To use your record albums as an example, I'd try setting the document type to automatic, and placing your iDivice in the middle of the album, then lifting it up until the iDivice says, "Text detected, hold still" and snaps a picture of your record. Alternatively, you could use the field of view report feature to help align the camera with all four edges of the document. It is located next to the take picture button. This feature, when pressed will say something like "top bottom and right edges, four degrees counter clockwise." This would mean that you would rotate your iDivice to the right, and move it to the left to try and get all the edges in the frame. Also, a question was asked regarding the scanning of cookbooks during the presentation and he said it "works great."Julia

Hi. KNFB reader is definitely on my Christmas list. I have a couple of questions for those of you who have put it through its paces.

1. Does anyone know the image size the reader will accommodate. I am digitizing my large collection of vinyl record albums and would like to shoot their jackets for info.

2.Has anyone tried shooting pages from a cookbook to see how recipes come out.

Thanks.
